The Digital IP Office Telephones plug into Digital Station ports on the IP Office. The IP Telephones integrate into the Data Network and do not require an available station port on the system. The Digital Phones are Two Wire (one pair) sets and come in a wide range of styles and sizes. The IP (VOIP) Telephones integrate into the network via a Hub/Switch and require power be provided either by the Hub/Switch (Power over Ethernet) or from a local power supply that you can purchase as a package with the IP Telephone.The IP Office system also supports many telephones originally purchased for other Lucent systems, giving you the convenience of using your existing business phones with your new IP Office system. |
