The IP500 Digital Station 8 provides 12 ports for RJ45's. 8 of those ports are DS ports for connection to digital telephones that are not IP phones. This module can be equipped with an IP500 trunk card that uses the additional 4 ports for trunk connections.

 Manual- Module accepts one IP500 trunk card (any type)
- Maximum of three Digital Station 8 cards in a IP500 Control Unit
- 4400 series telephones are not supported on this module, only on Digital Station expansion modules. Hence, a max of two hundred and fourty 4400 series phones are supported in the system.
